at Teddy Bear Museum, Eastgate

Edward Bear and family are all ready for Christmas but Santa`s reindeer are missing and rumour has it they are hiding in Edward`s festively decorated house.

Help Edward find Santa`s missing reindeer in his charming vintage house and win a bear in this fun festive event. Meet `Spencer` Santa`s giant 9ft helper bear.!



8 Dec 2017 - 6 Jan 2018Cinderella Pantomime

at Lighthouse Theatre

Starring Ethan Lawrence (Bad Education), Lucy Kay (Britain`s Got Talent), Richard Gibson (Herr Flick from `Allo, `Allo) and Miles Western ... and featuring real ponies.

Cinderella is meeting the Prince at the Royal Ball but her cruel Ugly Sisters tear up her ticket. Baron Hardup and the loveable Buttons try to stop her tears but only the magical powers of her Fairy Godmother can get her to the Palace in a golden coach pulled by real ponies. However, she must leave close to midnight or her beautiful dress will turn to rags

Friday 15 December 2017 to Saturday 17 February 2018 Cool Coast Ice Rink

at Bournemouth International Centre

Ice skating is back at the Bournemouth International Centre this winter! The Cool Coast Ice Rink is the South Coast’s biggest indoor seasonal ice rink

As a fun all-weather activity, it’s perfect for kids and adults alike! Plus, with our useful Ice Skating penguins, even the youngest novices can have a go in our Kids area; separate from the main rink which is ideal for smaller children and their parents.

Price: £8.50 per ticket





Wednesday 20th December - The Christmassy Christmas Show of Christmassy Christmassness

at The Corn Exchange, Dorchester

Squashbox Theatre’s new family show is a celebration of everything Christmassy, from fir trees, fairy lights, stockings and sleigh bells to cookies, crackers, presents and puddings!

Meet a snowman who lives in the fridge, try and spot some naughty elves, hear the tale of the first Christmas Tree, play hunt the brussel sprout and endure the world’s worst Christmas jumper.



21st December 2017 Winter Solstice

at Corfe Castle

Experience the rare opportunity to watch the sun rise on the shortest day of the year from the castle ruins. Castle opens 7.15am - 9am. Tickets £10, including a voucher for a hot drink and breakfast bap (vegetarian sausage, sausage or bacon) served outside in the castle grounds. Meet at castle entrance.

No unaccompanied children. Weather can influence the start of this event





1st January 2018 New Years Bath Tub Race

at Poole Quay

From approx 12noon with the starter gun going off at 12.15pm.

As Poole`s biggest tradition takes to the Quay, cheer on the crazy crews as they take their specially constructed bath tub vessels for this annual charity feel good race organised by the Blue Boar.

The race starts at the Customs House Steps as constestants try to head towards the Lord Nelson. Expect all the usual thrills, spills & sabotage!





Tuesday Nights from April through September Dream Machine Bike Night

at Poole Quay

Every Tuesday night between April and September the “bikers” roll into town!

Bikers from all over the country come here to show off their beautiful machines, meet up with fellow enthusiasts and compete for “Bike of the night”.

The event starts at 6pm and is one of the UK’s premier biking events.

Poole Quay Dream Machines is a fully marshalled event, with a £1 entry charge per night. It is a self-funding event.



Friday nights from July through August Quay for my Car

at Poole Quay

Poole Quay hosts a unique, themed car event every Friday evening from July to August from 6pm – 9pm, putting a great selection of popular car marques in the spotlight.

Each week is themed so one week you may be checking out the open top sports cars whilst the next you could be admiring the Best of British

The event offers free entry onto the quayside for the car owners who fit the theme for that particular evening. With a stunning backdrop of the Quay and Poole Harbour it is the perfect location for owners to show off their vehicles.
