Still based in Poole Old Town, the business is led by Helen alongside her husband Duncan, a Chartered Surveyor, with the next generation firmly involved in day-to-day operations. Supported by a dedicated local team, we provide a fully managed service with in-house housekeeping and maintenance, ensuring consistently high standards for owners and a welcoming, home-from-home experience for guests — many of whom return year after year.

The history of Quay
Homegrown hospitality
Founded in 2006 by Helen Challis, Quay Holidays began with just five properties in Poole. Built on Helen’s background in residential property management and a hands-on, detail-driven approach, the business quickly grew through repeat guests and owner recommendations. Today, Quay Holidays is a proudly family-owned and independently run company, managing over 120 carefully selected holiday homes from Poole to Christchurch.
